Committed to providing high-quality homes for people that need additional support

Fresh Hope Housing are a Community Interest Company offering supported housing for some of the most vulnerable people in Bolton. We are a not-for-profit organisation that is recognised as an innovative health and social care landlord that is committed to providing practical quality homes for people that need extra support.

Beyond our high-quality homes in good locations, we offer tailored packages of support for the tenant, that strives to involve their families and support networks so they can live as independently as possible in a safe and supportive environment.

Experienced housing professionals.

Fresh Hope Housing have properties across Bolton supporting tenants many of which have experienced problems with addiction, relationship breakdowns, unemployment and rough sleeping.

We have many years of experience working in the housing sector and while we are a new organisation we are well connected to the wider voluntary sector. Our Director has 20 years of experience of working with the most vulnerable and has a track record of involving the community in design, delivery and evaluation of programmes associated with supported housing.

What we do.

We exist to provide supported accommodation always working hard to enable our residents to take that next all-important step forward in their lives.

We work with local strategic partners to help people with emergency shelter, semi-permanent homes and long-term agreements.

We provide an emergency out of hours service to report emergency repairs and anti-social behaviour and offer regular visits and inspections of all properties by our friendly and experienced team.

We also offer referrals to positive activities like financial literacy courses, wellbeing activities, employability skills training and much much more!  Our experienced team are there to support you every step of the way.

Over the many years supporting our beneficiaries, we have become a people-led and responsive organisation and are proud of our community.

The difference we make

Our community.

Bolton is the 34th most deprived local authority out of the 354 local authority districts in England (2019) and in recent years there have been increases in unemployment, poor health and crime rates. The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities figures show that 1,493 households in Bolton sought council support after becoming homeless between April 2020 and the end of September 2021 and while numbers fluctuate, we estimate that there are currently between 25 and 30 adults who resort to rough sleeping on the streets of Bolton at any one time.

Our beneficiaries are isolated and disconnected, with discrimination and learnt negative behaviour leaving them exposed.  Fresh Hope Housing helps these individuals build strong relationships in their community and live fulfilled lives. The skills gained by working with us enables them to build these relationships and understand the value of connectivity.
